Procurement Innovation Awards 2026: Silver Medal for ZYLIO

On Monday, June 22, 2026, the Théâtre Mogador in Paris hosted the 19th edition of the Trophées des Achats, the profession's reference event since 2007, organized by Républik Achats. More than 1,000 procurement professionals gathered, with purchasing directors from France's largest groups in the audience, and on stage, service providers who came to defend their innovation before a jury of active buyers.

That evening, in the Innovative Suppliers category, ZYLIO took second place, the silver medal, against 12 competitors in the final.

A recognition awarded by those who live the problem

Being recognized in the innovative suppliers category by that jury, among twelve finalists selected following a demanding oral presentation, is a validation of a different order. It means that the problem ZYLIO addresses, the documentary control of procurement, is recognized as real, a priority, and insufficiently resolved by existing tools.

The field problem that drove our candidacy

ZYLIO was born from a simple observation, repeated across dozens of organizations in different sectors: procurement, finance, and accounting teams dedicate a considerable share of their time to verification and comparison tasks that create, in themselves, no value.

Comparing quotes line by line in a spreadsheet. Verifying that invoiced prices match negotiated terms. Checking that delivered quantities match those invoiced. These tasks are essential, but there is no reason for them to remain manual.

When they do remain manual, the consequences are predictable: partial control due to lack of time, small recurring discrepancies never detected, and a silent contractual leakage that represents on average between 1% and 5% of the annual purchasing volume. On a budget of 5 million euros, that represents between €50,000 and €250,000 in lost margin every year, without anyone in the organization truly being aware of it.

What makes an innovation a prize-winning "innovative supplier"

The innovative suppliers category rewards service providers capable of delivering a concrete response to a procurement challenge. The difference is not played out on the technological promise, but on the mechanics of value.

Where generative AI waits for an instruction (summarizing a contract, drafting a supplier email, generating a report), agentic AI operates continuously. It monitors, compares, detects, and alerts on all documents, without human intervention on standard cases. It is this autonomy of action that transforms an assistant into an operational lever.

Concretely, an AI agent specialized in procurement data reads all document formats (free-form quotes, unit price schedules of several hundred lines, DPGF, invoices, framework contracts, price lists), extracts the determining data without manual entry, then cross-references it simultaneously with all relevant repositories to identify discrepancies. And above all, it does so without prior configuration or ERP integration, with deployment in a matter of days.
