What we see coming

Full coverage was never a question of will, but of unit cost. That cost has collapsed.
Even today, most organisations check a few invoices and pay the rest on the strength of the contract. That is not negligence, it is arithmetic: a few minutes of human attention per line, multiplied by a group’s annual volume, made any other choice impossible. That arithmetic has changed. Reading a contract, extracting its price schedule, checking every invoiced line against that schedule and raising the gap with its evidence is now an engineering matter. In a few years, paying an invoice nobody has checked against its contract will look as strange as signing a cheque without reading it.

Our vision takes the opposite stance: agents read, compare, document, and stop there. They commit no payment, contact no supplier, change nothing in the ERP. Whatever matches no rule is raised as an exception, with its reason, and a person decides.

The mechanism
Building the memory of your spend
Concretely, the Capture agent reads every document (contract, amendment, rate card, price list, quote, order, delivery, invoice) and extracts its lines. Graph, the knowledge graph layer, links what it finds: the reference to its price, the price to its clause, the clause to its contract, all of it dated. Compliance and Matching then check every invoiced line against that memory and show the gap with its source.
That knowledge does not expire; it accumulates. Price history becomes a negotiation argument. The supplier master data cleans itself. Memory stops being individual, that of a buyer who leaves with what they knew, and becomes the organisation’s.

Is Zylio’s vision procurement without people?
No, and that is the central point. The vision is that every euro is verified, not that every decision is automated. Agents do the groundwork: they read, compare, prove; and a person decides. Zylio commits no payment and contacts no supplier.
Why is this vision possible today and not before?
Because the unit cost of verification has collapsed. Checking an invoice line against a contract took minutes of human attention; at group scale, sampling was the only rational strategy. That constraint is gone, and sampling has lost its justification.
What does “the memory of your spend” mean?
